Geneva Arts Fair:

We invite you to join us for a day of shopping at our outdoor gallery of fine art. Victorian homes-turned-businesses in the downtown historic district serve as a picturesque backdrop for the fine arts show.  Voted “Best Craft or Art Show” by West Suburban Living magazine, the Geneva Arts Fair will showcase over 150 artists from around the country.  Art mediums include photography, pottery, fiber, printmaking, glass, mixed media, watercolor, oil/acrylic, wood, sculpture and jewelry.

Savor the flavor of Geneva during Festival of the Vine, our autumn harvest celebration. This annual festival is a celebration of the flavors of fall.  Initially a celebration of anything grown on a vine, the festival now revolves around food and wine.  Sip wines from around the world and sample mouth-watering international specialties prepared by Geneva restaurateurs while you enjoy versatile local and Chicagoland musical and dance entertainers on the Flavor Fare stage.  Additional festival events include an arts and crafts show, merchant wine offerings, flower market, live demonstration stage, Kids’ Corner, complimentary trolley and horse-drawn carriage rides plus great shopping in Geneva’s historic downtown.

The traditional Christmas Walk Tour begins on December 6 at 6:00 pm when Santa Lucia, the Swedish symbol of the season, and her attendants arrive by horse-drawn carriage to offer Swedish cookies to visitors. Santa makes his appearance to light the Great Tree on the Courthouse lawn (on South Third Street between James & Campbell) and officially opens his Gingerbread House (corner of James & South Third) at 6:30 pm. Enjoy an evening of holiday shopping and dining in historic Geneva and delight in chestnuts roasting, strolling carolers, freshly-made candy canes and hot cider. Your family has the opportunity to be the first to greet Santa this Geneva holiday season.
